Agua Fresca La Escondida Coffee offers sustainably managed, direct-trade coffee sourced from a single-family-owned, fourth-generation estate in Jinotega, Nicaragua, and roasted locally in New Orleans. This dark roast features 100% Arabica beans grown at high altitudes in cloud forests, which are hand-picked, washed in natural spring water, and sun-dried.

By sourcing via direct trade, we cut out the middleman entirely. While traditional Fair Trade simply sets a minimum price floor, Direct Trade goes further by paying premium prices directly to the growers based on the exceptional quality of their harvest. This direct partnership ensures the true sustainability of their historic family estate, empowers the local Jinotega community, and guarantees total transparency in every cup. The resulting cup has a bright and vibrant body with tasting notes of cacao and nuts.
